ET Senior Assassin Rules
Safety Guidelines
We all want to have a good time playing, but it’s no fun when people get hurt or property gets damaged. Here are some things to consider:
- Be aware of your surroundings to avoid contact with people or objects, and obstacles like water, road and surface hazards.
- Use good judgment and manners when interacting with other players, and be careful about poor judgment and behavior problems from game participants.
- No trespassing and don’t break any laws.
- Don’t play from, or target a person in a moving car, bike, skateboard, etc.
The Game Organizer may eliminate players who don’t use good judgment.
Overview
Each player gets assigned a target.
Players eliminate their targets by uploading video proof that they squirted their target with a water squirter. After eliminating their target, players get assigned a new one.
The game ends when only one player remains, or when none of the remaining players meets their elimination quota at the end of a round.
Rounds
The game contains a series of rounds, each with its own start and end date and time.
Each round is either an Assignment Round or a Free-For-All Round.
At the start of an Assignment Round, each active player receives a new target.
In a Free-For-All Round each active player tries to eliminate as many other active players as possible.
A round may also have an elimination quota. Players meeting their quota by the end of the round advance to the next round, while those who don’t get dropped from the game.
Pool floaties visibly worn on a target's body protect them from elimination until Saturday, February 18th.
If you get eliminated before February 18th, you can revive yourself one time for an additional $10.
Eliminations
A successful elimination occurs when a player squirts their target with a water squirter and submits video proof in the Gotcha app. The target has an opportunity to confirm or challenge the elimination through the app. The administrator makes the final judgment on challenged eliminations.
Use good safety judgment when eliminating your target, and be courteous when you choose to play in public places.
You assume all responsibility for any personal injury or property damage you cause while playing.
You may get other people to help with your assignment. However, neither the assassin nor the helpers can make physical contact with the target.
Safe Zones
Targets are safe walking to work or places of worship, and while they're working or worshiping, however they are fair game leaving the building.
Homes and back yards are safe zones unless the player is invited by a resident.
Targets are safe in vehicles that aren't parked.
Targets are safe on school grounds and functions.
Targets are safe DURING any type of sports practice, but not traveling to and from.
Prizes
$100 from the pot goes to the player with the most eliminations.
The remainder of the pot goes to the last active player.
